Take your guitar building skills to the next level with our 6-month 'Advanced' Program at the Whitney School of Guitar Making. This program expands on our popular 3-month 'Comprehensive' program and provides a greater focus on design details and embellishments, veneering, inlay, and also includes an introductory CNC and milling component. Whether you're a novice or experienced builder, our program is designed to take you from design and conception to completing several fully realized guitar, yours to keep! Students will have the opportunity to further showcase their skills and create a final project of their choosing. Join us and take the first step towards mastering the art of lutherie. * Courses run full-time, Monday to Friday. All guitars are yours to keep. ** Students will apply finish to their instruments using both hand- and spray-finishing techniques. PLEASE NOTE: Students interested in this 6-Month 'Advanced' Program must be at least 25 years of age, OR, have previously taken either the 3-week 'Electric Guitar Building Course' or the '5-week Acoustic Guitar Building Course'.
